Technically, free agency hasn’t officially started, but that doesn’t mean the NFL wasn’t bat shit crazy on Tuesday. Among news like Tom Brady leaving New England and Cam Newton out of Carolina, the Eagles made a cluster of moves to the secondary and also lost a couple players to the Dolphins.

We expected Howie Roseman to be busy this offseason, and it looks like his office is already on a roll with restructuring the roster. They’ve decided to let one of the team’s biggest leader walk, and already started changing the look of the secondary. Things are sure to get even more eventful leading up to and into the NFL Draft.

Here are the Eagles players returning and moving on ahead of the official opening of free agency on Wednesday:

Roster addition

Javon Hargraveagreed to a 3-year deal

Returning players

Hassan Ridgewayagreed to a 1-year deal

Nate Sudfeldagreed to a 1-year deal

Jalen Millsagreed to a 1-year deal and move to safety

Rodney McLeodagreed to a 2-year deal

Players lost

Halapoulivaati Vaitaisigned a 5-year deal with the Lions worth $50 mil

Kamu Grugier-Hillsigned with the Dolphins on a 1-year deal

Jordan Howardsigned with the Dolphins on a 2-year deal

Malcolm Jenkinsit was announced the Eagles would NOT exercise his option for 2020 (and I wept a little)

Which was you most and least favorite roster move made ahead of free agency?

Sound off in the comments! (While I continue to cry a little.)
