It appeared that linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill would be moving on from the Eagles after posting a goodbye to Philly and its fans on Monday, and now it’s being reported that he’ll be headed to the Dolphins on a one-year contract.

It appears to be all love between Kamu and the city he called home for the past four years. He was instrumental in the Eagles’ success during their Super Bowl run in 2017 and in keeping an injury-filled LB group strong.

PHILLY!!!! Can’t describe what my life has been like the last FOUR years being in the trenches and being on top of the mountain!!! TRULY blessed to be a part of such an amazing sports city!!! Thank you to the city of Philadelphia for supporting me these last couples years!! Can’t argue, wildest fans in the world and I love it!! Don’t change ✌
During his time with the Eagles, the linebacker totaled 98 tackles — including 11 tackles for loss and 3 QB hits —, 2 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles, 1 interception and 1.0 sacks. Aside from his contributions on defense, he was a huge contributor on special teams in 2017 and 2018, with reduced snaps last season.
It’s a bummer the Eagles couldn’t keep him but here’s wishing him the best moving forward.
