NFL free agency, one of the most exciting times of the year, is about to begin! ... or is it? It’s currently unclear if the new league year will still start on time as impact of the coronavirus pandemic is being felt around the world.

While we all wait for more clarification, here’s a new BGN Radio podcast in case you find yourself needing a distraction. You can [CLICK HERE TO PLAY] or stream my conversation with Jimmy Kempski about all things Philadelphia Eagles below:

  • Quick thoughts on how the coronavirus is impacting the NFL and the Eagles. Should the league delay the start of free agency?
  • Marty Mornhinweg is back. Good move? Why “too many cooks in the kitchen” could be overblown ... and why the concern might have some merit.
  • Now that the XFL is over, who should the Eagles sign out of that league?
  • Running through our offseason plans for the Eagles in free agency and the NFL Draft. Jimmy and I both offer some free agent targets for Howie Roseman, including re-signing Jalen Mills.
  • Answering your Eagles mailbag questions:

Who will be this year’s “Corey Nelson” signing?

Should the Eagles re-sign LeSean McCoy?

What is the contingency plan if the Eagles whiff on Byron Jones? (And what jersey number would Jones wear in Philly if the Eagles DO sign him?)

If you had to pick a quarantine roommate between Doug Pederson or Howie Roseman, who would you pick, and why?

What’s the realistic best case scenario for the Eagles’ top three wide receivers in 2020?

Which (potentially) outgoing Eagles free agent will get a surprisingly high contract, and which one will get a surprising low one?

With a deep draft class at wide receiver, should the Eagles invest in a defensive back in the first round, and grab a wide receiver in the second?

Are the Eagles more likely to trade up or trade back?

Should the Eagles draft a tight end in the middle rounds to prepare for Zach Ertz or Dallas Goedert leaving?

Which quarterback situation was handled worse by their respective teams: Dak Prescott or Kirk Cousins?

What are the chances Avonte Maddox is moved to free safety? It seems like the Eagles are showing a lot of interest in slot corners.

Did the Eagles have enough opportunity to do their homework on draft prospects prior to the coronavirus limitations?

What is your go-to self-quarantine dinner/snack/dessert?

What alternatives should we consider to shaking hands?

• Final thoughts and more!
