Lane Johnson’s Thursday morning appearance on FS1’s ‘Undisputed’ with Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe, and Jenny Taft wasn’t as explosive as one might’ve thought it would be given that Bayless is an unabashed Dallas Cowboys fan. The Philadelphia Eagles’ starting right tackle isn’t usually shy to be bold (see: his criticisms of the New England Patriots) but he kept things pretty tame.
With that said, Bayless did goad Johnson into making an Eagles-Cowboys prediction for the 2020 season.
SKIP: So, will you guarantee two Eagles victories next year over the Dallas Cowboys?
LANE: Hey, don’t ask me dumb questions. I mean, hell yeah! (laughs)
SKIP: I like it!
LANE: Hey, you better be confident.
You can watch the exchange for yourself below:

Hopefully this goes better than that time Doug Pederson guaranteed an Eagles victory (and then kind of walked it back?) ahead of a 37 to 10 loss in Dallas last season.
Of course, it would be the Eagles who got the last laugh as they beat the Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 16 prior to officially clinching the division in Week 17.
The 2020 Eagles have an opportunity to be the first team since the 2004 Eagles to clinch the NFC East in back-to-back seasons. If Johnson’s guaranteed holds true, well, the Birds will have a pretty good chance to make some history.
It’ll also mark the first time the Eagles swept the Cowboys since the 2011 season.
