The fifteenth Sunday of the 2020 NFL regular season is here and that means it’s time to run through a Philadelphia Eagles-focused rooting guide for all of the Week 15 games.
When it comes to rooting for the Eagles to make the playoffs or to get a better draft pick, polling here at Bleeding Green Nation shows that fans are split:
So, we’ll take a look at both sides, starting with the more popular option.
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES at ARIZONA CARDINALS: The Eagles can finish Week 15 as high as the No. 5 slot if they lose and they get some help. Root for the Cardinals.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS at CINCINNATI BENGALS: The Eagles probably can’t catch the Bengals at this point; Cincy looks hopeless without Joe Burrow. But on the off-chance they can pull out some miraculous wins, root for them anyway. Root for the Bengals.
CLEVELAND BROWNS at NEW YORK GIANTS: The Eagles making the playoffs and falling to pick No. 19 at best gets harder with the Giants winning. Plus it only helps to ruin New York’s draft positioning. Root for the Giants.
Here’s your Eagles playoff primer:
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES at ARIZONA CARDINALS: Jalen Hurts stepping up down the stretch and looking like a franchise quarterback could be good, right? Root for the Eagles.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at DALLAS COWBOYS: The Eagles might need the Cowboys to lose at least one more time. So, eff Dallas. Root for the 49ers.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS at WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM: With Alex Smith out and Dwayne Haskins starting at quarterback, the Seahawks should be able to win this game. Root for the Seahawks.
CLEVELAND BROWNS at NEW YORK GIANTS: The Eagles need the Giants to lose at least one more game in order to make the playoffs. Root for the Browns.
