The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report on Friday in advance of their Week 15 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Two players were ruled OUT: Jack Driscoll and Avonte Maddox.
Driscoll is reportedly out for the season so he’ll likely be placed on injured reserve in the near future. Matt Pryor is set to replace him at right tackle, which means the Eagles will be using their 13th different starting offensive line combination in 14 games this year.
Maddox might also be headed to IR with Doug Pederson saying he’s expected to “miss some time.” If last week was any indication, the Eagles might be planning to use Nickell Robey-Coleman as an outside cornerback with Kevon Seymour rotating in when NRC shifts inside to play in the slot. Not ideal.
UPDATE: The Eagles officially placed Driscoll and Maddox on IR.
Three players were ruled QUESTIONABLE: Darius Slay, Malik Jackson, and Grayland Arnold.
Slay was limited in practice for the second day in a row. He’s still in the concussion protocol and thus need to be independently cleared before he can play. The guess here is that he’ll be able to play this weekend. But we’ll see.
Jackson was a full participant on Friday. He’s officially questionable since he’s still in the concussion protocol but it looks like he’ll be cleared. He’s further along than Slay.
Arnold missed practice on Wednesday before being limited the past two days. It’d be nice if he was healthy in order to provide safety depth and special teams help. But the Eagles might have to be cautious with his hammy.
Fletcher Cox, Josh Sweat, T.J. Edwards, Shaun Bradley, Rudy Ford, and Michael Jacquet are all listed without a game status after previously appearing on the injury report this week. The Eagles are getting some reinforcements for defense and special teams from that group. Positive development.
