To say that the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line has been hit hard by injuries this season would be an understatement. The team has used TWELVE different starting offensive line combinations in 13 games so far this year. And now they’re bound to use their 13th in 14 games!
Eagles rookie right tackle Jack Driscoll is reportedly out for the rest of the 2020 campaign due to an MCL sprain, according to NFL Network.
#Eagles RT Jack Driscoll will miss the rest of the season with a significant MCL sprain, sources say. The rookie toughed it out to finish the game against the #Saints but further testing showed the full extent of the injury. Tough one for him and the team. He was playing well.

This is a pretty disappointing development.
Driscoll has shown some promise this year despite ranking 77th out of 87 offensive tackles graded by Pro Football Focus. And the Eagles’ offensive line as a whole is coming off their best game of the season. Shame to see they won’t be able to carry that continuity over into Week 15.
One would assume that it’ll be Matt Pryor taking over at right tackle with both Lane Johnson and Driscoll now out for the year. He’s not an ideal starting option but he at least has some experience playing the position.
Driscoll’s injury leaves the Eagles pretty thin at tackle. Brett Toth is the only full-time tackle behind Jordan Mailata and Pryor. The Eagles have used Isaac Seumalo at tackle in emergency situations in the past so there’s always the option of kicking him out and shifting somebody else in at guard. The Eagles should probably sign rookie blocker Prince Tega Wanogho from the practice squad to the 53-man roster to give them more depth.
Here’s wishing Driscoll a speedy recovery.
