For those wondering, yes, the result of the 2020 presidential election qualifies as Eagles news.
Votes counted in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, where many Eagles fans obviously reside, played a key role in Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes going to Joe Biden to elect him the next president of the United States. Polling data shows Biden won 80.8% of the vote in Philadelphia county.
Biden — a Scranton, PA native before moving to Delaware — is also an Eagles fan himself. Check out his reaction after the Eagles won Super Bowl LII:
