Before the twelfth Sunday of the 2020 NFL regular season kicks off, let’s have some fun by taking a look at the spreads for the Week 12 games. You can CLICK HERE for straight up NFL picks without regard to the spread. You can find all of the NFL betting lines via DraftKings.

My overall record so far is 83-76-2 after going 9-5 last week. The BGN community is 75-82-2 after going 5-9 last week.

Here are suggestions when trying to beat the odds.

NFL WEEK 12 GAMES

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at BUFFALO BILLS (-4.5): Anthony Lynn revenge game? I say yes. Don’t love the “West Coast team making a 1:00 PM” start factor here but I do really love Justin Herbert in this matchup. Not crazy to think he could outperform Josh Allen in this spot. Taking the points. PICK: Chargers +4.5

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS (-3) at ATLANTA FALCONS: The Falcons are allowing the second most passing yards per game in the NFL. Derek Carr should be able to have success against this Atlanta defense. The Raiders really need this game to remain in the AFC playoff picture. PICK: Raiders -3

MIAMI DOLPHINS (-7) at NEW YORK JETS: Ryan Fitzpatrick is back in the starting lineup with Tua Tagovailoa injured. I do really like the Dolphins and it’s possible that Fitz gets red hot. It’s also quite possible he turns in one of his stinkers. Brian Flores over Adam Gase is a big coaching mismatch ... but the Jets have been more competitive lately. They might get their first outright win here. I’ll say they at least cover. PICK: Jets +7

ARIZONA CARDINALS (-1) at NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: Suspiciously low line here. The Cards should be getting more respect than this. Arizona is 11th in DVOA while New England is 26th. PICK: Cardinals -1

NEW YORK GIANTS (-6) at CINCINNATI BENGALS: The Giants are coming off their bye and they can rise to first in the NFC East with a win here. Joe Judge will be able to fend his team off from the trap of losing to Brandon Allen’s Bengals. PICK: Giants -6

CLEVELAND BROWNS (-7) at JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: I’ll probably regret this because the Jags are awful and haven’t won since Week 1. But I just haven’t been super impressed by the Browns. Jacksonville’s run defense has been solid enough; it’s tied for 12th in opponent yards per rush attempt. The Browns are due for a letdown. PICK: Jaguars +7

TENNESSEE TITANS at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (-3): On one hand, the Colts are top five in DVOA and point differential. They just beat the Titans on the road a couple weeks ago. They should win. But I just don’t think Mike Vrabel is going to allow his side to get swept by Indy. The Titans are feisty and hard to count out. PICK: Titans +3

CAROLINA PANTHERS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS (-3): Carolina’s run defense is vulnerable and Dalvin Cook can take advantage. Teddy Bridgewater’s return to Minny is going to be ruined with a loss. PICK: Vikings -3

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at LOS ANGELES RAMS (-6.5): The 49ers beat the Rams earlier this season but that’s not going to happen again. The Rams’ defense is arguably the best in the NFL. It’s certainly good enough for LA to cover this spread. PICK: Rams -6.5

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (-15) at DENVER BRONCOS: No quarterback? No problem! But enough about the Saints. I’m going to take the Broncos here because life is short and Denver is much more fun to root for in this scenario. PICK: Broncos +15

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-6) at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: The Seahawks have a habit of making games more difficult and weirder than they should be. It’s not always so straightforward with them. With that said, they’ve consistently owned the Eagles. Don’t know why we’d expect that to be different with Philly looking more awful than ever. PICK: Seahawks -6

BALTIMORE RAVENS at PITTSBURGH STEELERS (-7.5): The Ravens’ offense is pretty broken and replacing Lamar Jackson with Robert Griffin III sure isn’t going to make it any better. Baltimore is bound to get blown out in this one. PICK: Steelers -7.5
