Eagles vs. Seahawks Final Injury Report: Jason Peters questionable, three players ruled out

Week 12 game status updates.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report on Saturday in advance of their Week 12 Monday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Three players were ruled OUT: Lane Johnson, Sua Opeta, and Rudy Ford.

Johnson is out for the season so the Eagles will likely put him on injured reserve soon. Doug Pederson confirmed Matt Pryor — not Jack Driscoll, who fully practiced today — is set to start at right tackle.

Opeta being ruled out is an unexpected development. He wasn’t listed on the injury report until missing today’s practice due to a back injury. Opeta likely would’ve been the top backup at either guard spot. Now Nate Herbig could be back in that role after curiously falling out of favor. UPDATE: The Eagles officially placed Opera on injured reserve. That’s one serious practice injury.

Ford is missing his second straight game and his sixth this season. His absence hurts the Eagles’ special teams unit and safety depth.

One player was ruled QUESTIONABLE: Jason Peters.

Peters was limited in Saturday’s practice due to his toe injury. If healthy, Peters is reportedly set to start at right guard. If not, it could be Herbig who gets the nod there. Or the Eagles could move Pryor to right guard and have Driscoll start at right tackle. Regardless of how it shakes out, Philly will be starting their 10th different offensive line combination in 11 games this season.

Pederson said Zach Ertz likely isn’t ready to be activated from injured reserve for Monday’s game.
