Happy Thanksgiving, BGN!

I’m thankful for all of you.

The Philadelphia Eagles sure haven’t given us much (read: anything?) to rejoice about this year but I’m still thankful to be able to write and podcast about them here at Bleeding Green Nation.

2020 has been a rough year for many reasons. Today will serve as a reminder of that very fact for families and friends who aren’t able to safely get together like they normally would.

In these trying times, though, it can be nice to focus on the things that we might take for granted.

As I reflect on the positives in my life, I find it hard to believe that I’ve been a member of the BGN community for 10 years now. The entirety of my post-high school life has been spent right here with you all!

I feel very fortunate to have been afforded the opportunities I’ve gotten to experience by running BGN. From witnessing the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII win in person, to co-hosting radio shows on both 97.5 The Fanatic and SportsRadio 94WIP, to covering the 2017 NFL Draft while stationed on the Ben Franklin Parkway, to even just interacting with fellow fans who might care what I have to say (or not!) in the comment section ... I’ve been incredibly blessed.

And so I just wanted to thank you all once again for making this possible. I hope you all have a great holiday, even though Thanksgiving food is overrated. :)

Happy Thanksgiving, BGN!
