Doug Pederson wasn’t asked about the Philadelphia Eagles’ injury situation during his Monday press conference but we at least have some news on Cre’Von LeBlanc.
NFL Network reports that Strap is likely headed to injured reserve after suffering a high ankle injury. Strap would be eligible to be activated from IR as soon as Week 15 but it’s unclear if he’ll be healthy enough by then.
A second-degree sprain. It’s too early to tell if LeBlanc will be able to return this season. https://t.co/Sj1en4vLfT

Strap got hurt late in the third quarter during the Eagles’ loss to the Cleveland Browns. Shame to see.
This injury means the Eagles are down to four healthy cornerbacks on the 53-man roster: Darius Slay, Avonte Maddox, Nickell Robey-Coleman, and Michael Jacquet. The Eagles also use Jalen Mills at corner, as they did when they moved Maddox to nickel and Mills to the outside after Strap got hurt on Sunday.
Strap developed something of a cult hero reputation for previous heroics but he hasn’t been having a good season. He’s scheduled to be a free agent after this season so it’s possible we may have seen the last of him in an Eagles uniform, sadly.
