The following six Eagles players have been ruled INACTIVE: Nate Herbig, Rudy Ford, Quez Watkins, Jason Huntley, Brett Toth, and Nate Sudfeld.
Herbig is out. He’s been dealing with a finger injury but he wasn’t listed on the injury report this week, which is weird. With Isaac Seumalo back at left guard, one would think Matt Pryor will start at right guard. The Eagles are starting their ninth different offensive line combination in 10 games this season.
Ford was ruled out on the final injury report due to a hamstring issue. His absence hurts the Eagles’ special teams unit but Philly still has five active safeties with Marcus Epps back for the first time since going on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Watkins is a healthy scratch despite J.J. Arcega-Whiteside missing this game due to testing positive for COVID-19.
The Eagles are keeping Elijah Holyfield, whom they elevated from the practice squad, active over Huntley.
Toth is more of a developmental project than a game-ready option.
Sudfeld has been a healthy scratch each week since Week 2.
Joe Ostman is officially active for his first NFL regular season game. He should see some rotational playing time as the fourth defensive end.
