The following seven Eagles players have been ruled INACTIVE: Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Hakeem Butler, Avonte Maddox, Nate Sudfeld and Casey Toohill.
Jeffery, Jackson, and JJAW out means the Eagles are down to the following wide receivers for this game: Greg Ward, John Hightower, Deontay Burnett, and Travis Fulgham. Hakeem Butler is inactive after only joining the Eagles earlier this week, which means Zach Ertz and Richard Rodgers are the only healthy tight ends.
Jalen Mills will reportedly start at cornerback with Maddox out. With Mills playing corner, Marcus Epps is set to start at safety. Darius Slay, Nickell Robey-Coleman, and Cre’Von LeBlanc are the only other cornerbacks on the roster. Grayland Arnold, who was elevated from the practice squad, also has some corner experience but has only lined up at safety with the Eagles.
Jalen Hurts continues to be the No. 2 quarterback behind Carson Wentz with Sudfeld being kept as a healthy scratch. We’ll see if the Eagles continue to get Hurts more involved in the offense.
Jordan Mailata is set to start at left tackle with Jason Peters on injured reserve. Philly is starting their fourth new offensive line combination in as many weeks.
Jamon Brown is active for his first game with the Eagles. Same goes for undrafted rookies Luke Juriga and Adrian Killins.
Jason Huntley is active for the first time since Week 1.
