Eagles vs. 49ers Week 4 game predictions

How’re you feeling about this one?

After correctly predicting that the Philadelphia Eagles would tie last week, you should all be especially interested in my prediction for this week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. I’m clearly capable of clairvoyance.

Upon gazing into my crystal ball for Sunday Night Football, I see ...

...

...

...

...

... another Eagles loss.

Shocking, right?

Hardly.

The Eagles are very injured and very bad.

I don’t think it’s impossible they can make it close. Jim Schwartz has a good track record against Kyle Shanahan. The Eagles’ defensive line could cause some issues. Positive regression could be on Philly’s side in terms of takeaways (none this year) and Carson Wentz’s peformance (he can’t continue to be THIS awful, right?).

But, man, I just don’t see it with this team. Just a lot of bad vibes.

The 49ers should be able to have success with Nick Mullens. He played well last week and that was without George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, who are now back. Even if Philly’s defense can manage to keep San Fran’s offense in check, it’s hard to imagine the Eagles’ garbage offense outscoring the 49ers.

And so I have the Birds getting embarrassed in front of a national audience. It only feels fitting given how this season has gone thus far.

0-3-1 incoming.
