Jalen Reagor has been cleared to play in the Philadelphia Eagles’ Sunday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to reports from Geoff Mosher and John Clark.

Reagor returned to practice this week with the Eagles activating his 21-day window to return from injured reserve. The rookie wide receiver had previously been out after suffering a thumb injury in Week 2.

Reagor showed some promise in limited playing time earlier this season with five receptions for 96 yards. He showed off his vertical ability with a 55-yard reception against the Washington Football Team in Week 1.

Getting Reagor back comes at a convenient time with the Eagles losing DeSean Jackson to an ankle injury. Reagor figures to replace Jackson in the starting Z role. Travis Fulgham will likely start at X while Greg Ward plays in the slot.

It remains to be seen if the Eagles will manage Reagor’s snap count since this is his first game back. The feeling here is that we could see him rotate with fellow rookie John Hightower to some extent.

In any case, it’s good to know that Reagor will be back. The Eagles have some intriguing young options for Carson Wentz to work with in Reagor, Fulgham, Ward, and Hightower. JJ Arcega-Whiteside will also likely be active for Sunday’s game while Quez Watkins might be a healthy scratch again.
