The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2020 NFL Week 7 game against the New York Giants.

The following seven Eagles players have been ruled INACTIVE: Miles Sanders, Alshon Jeffery, Malik Jackson, Jack Driscoll, K’Von Wallace, Nate Sudfeld, and Quez Watkins.

The first five players on that list were all officially ruled out on Friday’s injury report. Zach Ertz was also ruled out but has since been placed on injured reserve.

Sanders out means Boston Scott will start at running back out. Corey Clement and Jason Huntley are the only two options behind him.

With Jeffery out, the Eagles will have DeSean Jackson, Travis Fulgham, Greg Ward, John Hightower, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside at wide receiver. DeSean is back for his first game since last playing in Week 3. Watkins is a healthy scratch.

Malik being out leaves the Eagles with Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, Hassan Ridgeway, and T.Y. McGill (elevated from the practice squad) at defensive tackle.

Driscoll’s absence spurred Lane Johnson to fight through his ankle injury and attempt to play in tonight’s game. Matt Pryor could be the top backup tackle with Brett Toth also available if needed.

Wallace’s playing time will be replaced by Marcus Epps, who is back after missing last week’s game.

Sudfeld is a healthy scratch yet again. Not the best use of a roster spot, if you ask me.

Sterling Shepard is ACTIVE for the Giants tonight. He’s not expected to play his normal starting role in his first game off injured reserve but getting him back is good news for the Giants.

Giants starting slot cornerback Darnay Holmes is OUT. He was expected to be a game-time decision. Eagles could look to attack the Giants’ backup plan in nickel packages.
