The Philadelphia Eagles are 4.5-point favorites against the New York Giants on Thursday night but it’s actually the latter team that boasts the more confident fan base. At least, that’s what the latest SB Nation Reacts polling reflects.
The Eagles did see a 3% confidence boost up to 37% despite losing two straight games ...

If you ask me, Giants fans are kinda delusional right now. The bar for “success” in New Jersey has been lowered way too much.
Feel free to make me eat my words if the Giants win on Thursday night but I really don’t think that’s going to happen. The Eagles beating New York should serve as a reality check for Big Blue fans.
For what it’s worth, national polling is behind the Eagles in this game.

Elsewhere in the NFC East, the Washington Football Team saw a drop after losing to the Giants in Week 6. They’re last in the division standings but still ahead of the Eagles in confidence rating at 44%:

In the latest edition of Things You Truly Hate To See, the Dallas Cowboys are down to 9% after getting blown out on Monday Night Football. “America’s Team” is only above the Jacksonville Jaguars at 7% and the winless New York Jets at 6%.
