The bad news: Pro Bowl OG Brandon Brooks is scheduled to have shoulder surgery on Thursday, January 9.
The good news: He expects to be back by the end of OTAs.
Pro Bowl RG @bbrooks_79 will have surgery on his shoulder on Thursday. Says he will be back all the way for 2020. “It sucks, but it’s football, he said. pic.twitter.com/JJ0hfC8oyU

Brooks suffered a season-ending dislocated shoulder in the Eagles’ Week 17 contest against the Giants and missed the Wild Card game on Sunday against the Seahawks.
Based on the way he approached the rehab for his Achilles injury last year, it’s safe to assume that Brooks will once again battle his way back to being stronger than ever. He’ll have a step up from last year too, as he expects to be back around June (end of OTAs) — he didn’t return to the field until Week 1 in 2019.
Brooks has one of the best attitudes when it comes to injuries and his dedication to recovering from them. I have no doubt he’ll be back to playing at a Pro Bowl level by training camp.
