The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2020 NFL wild card playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks.
The following seven Eagles players have been ruled INACTIVE: Nelson Agholor, Lane Johnson, Nate Sudfeld, Elijah Holyfield, Genard Avery, Shareef Miller, and Sua Opeta.
There are no surprises here.
This announcement confirms Zach Ertz is ACTIVE, as expected.
Agholor was ruled out on the final injury report. The Eagles have five active wide receivers: Greg Ward, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Robert Davis, Deontay Burnett, and Shelton Gibson.
A Saturday report indicated Johnson would be out. Halapoulivaati Vaitai will start his fourth straight game at right tackle. Matt Pryor will make his first NFL start at right guard in place of Brandon Brooks.
Sudfeld, Holyfield, Avery, Miller, and Opeta are all healthy scratches.
Holyfield being out bodes well for the health statuses of Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders.
So bizarre the Eagles traded a 2021 fourth-round pick for Avery. He’s barely been contributing and now he’s a healthy scratch.
Shelton Gibson is active for his first game back with the Eagles.
