Philadelphia Eagles fan confidence is on the rise once again following the team’s fourth straight win. After beating the New York Giants to officially clinch the NFC East, Eagles fans are up from 65% to 77% in the latest FanPulse polling. Only eight NFL teams currently rank higher than the Eagles.
One of the 23 teams with a lower fan confidence rating than the Eagles is Philadelphia’s wild card opponent: the Seattle Seahawks. They’re only at 58% after going 1-3 in their final four games.
It’s interesting to see that some Seahawks fans are feeling uneasy considering Russell Wilson is undefeated against the Eagles and Seattle enters the game as two-point road favorites. One would think they’d be the more confident bunch.
Speaking for myself, I feel pretty confident in the Eagles this weekend. And that’s pretty unusual for me going into a Seahawks game considering I’m a pretty big Wilson appreciator. I just think the Eagles are playing good football right now. The offense is in a much healthier state than it used to be with Carson Wentz and Doug Pederson at the top of their game. The defense is playing inspired. The raucous home crowd at Lincoln Financial Field gives the team another edge.
The Eagles are winning this game.
