We’ve hit a bit of a lull in the NFL offseason as we wait for some more Philadelphia Eagles news to drop. In the meantime, the great Jimmy Kempski and I got together to discuss a number of Eagles topics in this week’s BGN Radio podcast. You can [CLICK HERE TO LISTEN] or stream our conversation below:

SHOW TOPICS

EAGLES COACHING STAFF STUFF

  • Cory Undlin is gone. Is that truly something to be happy about?
  • Still no news on who the Eagles who will hire at offensive coordinator. Jimmy and I run through our top candidates for the vacancy.
  • Some names for the Eagles’ vacant wide receivers coach and defensive backs coach openings.
  • Harold Carmichael’s finally in the Hall of Fame!

EARLY FREE AGENT TARGETS

  • Free agency is actually still more than two month away (March 18) but Jimmy and I each ran through our top targets that could make the most sense for the Eagles. Could the Eagles sign Byron Jones away from the Cowboys? Will Philly finally acquire Robby Anderson? And some less obvious names to consider.
  • The problem with this year’s free agent class as it relates to the Eagles.
  • Looking to get away from the reliance on aging veterans and targeting more long-term contributors.

STAY OR GO WITH SOME PLAYERS WHO COULD GO EITHER WAY

  • What the future holdss for these offensive players of interest: Nate Sudfeld, Jordan Howard, Alshon Jeffery, Greg Ward (in terms of making the 2020 53-man roster), Jason Peters, and Halapoulivaati Vaitai.
