Only one Eagles player named to PFWA 2019 All-NFL team

Another honor for Philadelphia’s favorite center.

The Professional Football Writers of America officially announced their 2019 All-NFL team on Monday morning.

Only one Philadelphia Eagles player made the cut this season: center Jason Kelce.

This marks the third year in a row that Kelce has earned All-NFL team honors. Fletcher Cox previously made it the last two years prior to this one.

In addition to appearing on the All-NFL team, Kelce made the All-NFC team (duh). Eagles starting right guard Brandon Brooks also made the All-NFC team as well. It’s the third year in a row Brooks has earned that honor.

Kelce and Brooks are two of the best offensive linemen in football so it’s nice to see them getting recognized as such.

Here’s a recap of the honors earned by Eagles players for the 2019 season.

JASON KELCE — AP All-Pro first team, PFWA All-NFL team, PFF All-Pro team, Pro Bowl

BRANDON BROOKS — PFWA All-NFC team, PFF All-Pro team, Pro Bowl

FLETCHER COX — Pro Bowl

ZACH ERTZ — Pro Bowl

RICK LOVATO — Pro Bowl
