Week 1 of the 2019 NFL regular season schedule concludes tonight with not one but TWO Monday Night Football games.

The MNF doubleheader begins with the New Orleans Saints hosting the Houston Texans. Here’s what we wrote about this matchup in the Eagles’ rooting guide:

HOUSTON TEXANS AT NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: I don’t think I need to encourage you to root against the Saints but you obviously should since they’re an NFC team facing an AFC team. Not to mention the Saints and Eagles could be competing for a No. 1 seed this year. Root for the Texans.

The second tilt is an AFC West rivalry matchup with the Oakland Raiders hosting the Denver Broncos. From the rooting guide:

DENVER BRONCOS AT OAKLAND RAIDERS: Uh, who cares?

I’ve decided to update my stance on this game to: “Go to bed instead of watching this matchup that won’t even end until like 1:30 AM ET.”
