Antonio Brown is coming to Philly ... in Week 11

Assuming he doesn’t get cut again.

Wow, Antonio Brown is coming to Philly!

Not to play for the Eagles, though.

Rather, Brown will be coming to Lincoln Financial Field as a member of the New England Patriots in Week 11 this season. That’s right, the Pats reportedly signed Brown to a one-year, $15 million contract just hours after the Oakland Raiders released the embattled wide receiver.

What a crazy saga this has been.

Adding to the drama is that the Patriots are scheduled to play the Steelers tomorrow evening on Sunday Night Football! Brown will NOT be eligible to play, however, because he was added to the Patriots’ roster after Saturday’s 4:00 PM ET roster deadline. Brown will be eligible to play in Week 2 and beyond.

Assuming the Pats don’t cut bait with him before Week 11, the Eagles will have to plan for defending Brown later this season. The Eagles’ game against the Pats is set for 4:25 PM ET on Sunday, November 17. It’s also entirely possible we could see these two teams meet in Super Bowl LIV.

It’d be nice if Brown could destroy the Pats from within but knowing how things go for New England he’ll probably just thrive there.
