The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2019 NFL Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers.
The following seven Eagles players have been ruled INACTIVE: DeSean Jackson, Ronald Darby, Timmy Jernigan, Shareef Miller, Nate Herbig, Matt Pryor, and Nate Sudfeld.
Jackson, Darby, and Jernigan were all previously ruled out on Friday’s injury report.
Jackson’s absence means Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, and Mack Hollins will be starting at wide receiver for the Eagles. JJ Arcega-Whiteside will be heading back to the bench now that Jeffery is back for the first time since getting hurt early in Week 2.
Darby being out means Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas are set to start at cornerback. Jones and Douglas previously rotated at one spot throughout the game.
Hassan Ridgeway and Akeem Spence will continue to see playing time next to Fletcher Cox since Jernigan is injured.
Miller, Herbig, Pryor, and Sudfeld are all healthy scratches. The only noteworthy thing from that group is that there’s no longer any doubt Josh McCown is the primary backup to Carson Wentz. Sudfeld is the third string quarterback.
Kamu Grugier-Hill is active for the first time this team. He’s expected to be on some kind of pitch count but his return should help the Eagles’ defense and special teams units.
Corey Clement is also healthy enough to play, as previously reported. He could resume his role as the Eagles’ primary kick returner.
Daeshon Hall is active for just his second game this season. Hall didn’t play a single snap — defensive or special teams — in Week 3. That probably won’t change this week but here’s hoping it does since the Eagles’ pass rush could use a boost.
