The Eagles are 3-0 on short weeks under head coach Doug Pederson, which is good news since the team is currently 1-2 on the season and they’re facing a 3-0 Green Bay packers team on Thursday Night Football in Week 4.
The Packers have won the last two matchups versus the Eagles, including in 2016 in a 27-13 victory in Philadelphia. The last time these two teams faced off at Lambeau Field, the Packers claimed a win, 53-20.
Pederson has a long history with the Green Bay franchise, but it’s been decades. He first played quarterback for the Packers from 1995-1998 and then again in 2001-2004, when he then ended his career. He knows how hard of an environment Lambeau Field is for visitors, but has said this week he’s excited for the opportunity.
The Packers are a bit of a different team under new head coach Matt LaFleur, but Aaron Rodgers is still their quarterback, which means they still have a tough offense to stop. Plus, they’ve made a lot of defensive improvements the past few seasons and have been forcing a lot of turnovers early this season.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
