UPDATES
[9:18 AM ET on Saturday, August 31] — NEW EAGLES ROSTER CUTS TRACKER! {Click here} to go there.
[9:11 PM ET] - Jets reporter Manish Mehta says Jets fans should “keep an eye on Eagles running back Josh Adams” this weekend. I’m taking this to mean Mehta thinks Joe Douglas will claim Adams on waivers. (Source: New York Daily News)
[7:00 PM ET] - The Eagles announced 25 moves. Roster is officially down to 65 players ahead of Saturday’s deadline. (Click here for more details.)
[6:11 PM ET] - The Eagles reportedly cut linebacker Alex Singleton, who had a nice summer with the team. He showed up on both defense and special teams. The Eagles cutting Singleton could be good news for T.J. Edwards’ chances of making the 53-man roster. Singleton is practice squad eligible but he might just prefer to go back to the CFL if he’s not claimed on waivers. Roster is unofficially down to 83 players. (Source: NBC Sports Philadelphia)
[4:52 PM ET] - BGN alumnus Mike Kaye says there’s “word going around the Eagles may have a trade market for running backs. Something to keep an eye on.” Maybe the Eagles can get a conditional seventh-round pick for Wendell Smallwood or Josh Adams? I’m not feeling optimistic. (Source: NJ.com)
[4:48 PM ET] - The Eagles reportedly cut Riley Mayfield. Mayfield only signed with the team on Wednesday and didn’t even play against the Jets. Roster is unofficially down to 84 players. (Source: NBC Sports Philadelphia)
[4:08 PM ET] - Down goes another Rutgers alumnus. The Eagles reportedly cut 6-6 wide receiver Carlton Agudosi. Agudosi made some flashy grabs during practice this offseason but he also struggled with some drops. Roster is unofficially down to 85 players. (Source: NJ.com)
[4:01 PM ET] - The Eagles reportedly cut undrafted rookie free agent Kevin Wilkins. The Rutgers alumnus could be a worthwhile practice squad candidate. Roster is unofficially down to 86 players. (Source: NFL Network)
[3:44 PM ET] - The Eagles cut interior offensive lineman Anthony Fabiano, who spent some time on the practice squad last season. Roster is unofficially down to 87 players. (Source: NFL agent Andy Ross)
[3:39 PM ET] - The Eagles reportedly cut Orlando Scandrick. Not a shocker since he’s a vested veteran and the team can bring him back after Week 1 to prevent his 2019 salary from being fully guaranteed. Roster is unofficially down to 88 players. (Source: NFL Network)
[1:48 PM ET] - We finally have a real update! The Eagles reportedly cut cornerback Jeremiah McKinnon, who spent some time on the practice squad last season. McKinnon had some good moments in practice but struggled in the preseason. Roster is unofficially down to 89 players. (Source: NBC Sports Philadelphia)
[8:21 AM ET] - The Eagles’ roster currently stands at 90 players. 37 moves to make before the deadline.
[8:15 AM ET] - While we’re waiting for the first updates, check out our latest 53-man roster predictions: BLG version | Benjamin Solak version | BGN Radio version.
