The Josh McCown Signing May Have Just as Much of an Impact as the Foles Signing in '17.

HOWIE WOWY! The Little Man has done it again. Howie Roseman has agreed to terms with another quarterback capable of catching lightning in a bottle, ingesting that lighting, and crapping thunder. Forgive me for being so excited about it, but the move holds great potential. Just don't look at his career accolades for proof... Josh McCown has been a journeyman quarterback for a reason. He's been generally terrible.

McCown has been throwing interceptions since I was a wee little boy for sad sack squads like the Cardinals, Lions, Raiders, Dolphins, Panthers, 49ers, Buccaneers, Browns, and Jets. His pick throwing prowess even took him to the new heights of the UFL in 2010!

However, McCown has looked sharp before, and it was in 2013 playing for Marc Trestman's Chicago Bears. There he averaged a career high TD % (5.8%)'and a career low INT% (.4%). During these eight games filling in for the Human Sigh, Jay Cutler, he posted 13 touchdowns to 1 Interception (!!!). . . why though?

It's simple: he had a great cast of skill position players. Matt Forte was in his prime. As was Brandon Marshall. McCown even had some highlight reel worthy throws to our very own Alshon Jeffrey!

Perhaps he could summon that tragic magic again with this incredibly stacked roster. PLUS it's a safe guarantee that the Birds will only need two roster spots for the 53, Sudfeld can be on the PUP, and Thorson will be placed on the practice squad.

Howie strikes again.
