Eagles Question of the Day: What is your least favorite NFL rule?

Every year the NFL makes a few changes to the way the game is played, recently updating the pass interference replay rules, and in past years adjusting how punt and kick returns are handled. Some changes are made with player safety in mind, and others are made after a seriously bungled mess the season prior.

This week at BGN, we’re talking about some of the changes we would make if we had some power in the NFL, from how games are scheduled to how they are refereed.

My least favorite rule isn’t limited to just one, but how several are open to interpretation, which in turn causes confusion and arguments. I mean, we’re how many years removed from Dez Bryant’s maybe/maybe not a catch and Cowboys fans will bring it up for the rest of time. And, I’m fairly confident Saints fans aren’t giving up on their pass interference crusade — even with it leading to a temporary rule change — anytime soon.

I don’t have any particular solutions to this, as certain plays and calls are bound to be debated, but all the ambiguity for how things should be refereed leaves way too much open to interpretation.

[BLG Note: My least favorite rule is whatever the hell leads to “no clear recovery.”]
