It might not feel like it right now but the 2019 Philadelphia Eagles season will be here before you know it.
There’s now only one month separating us from the team’s first preseason game against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, August 8.
As a reminder, here’s a look at the entire preseason slate:
Eagles 2019 Preseason Schedule
Week 1 - vs. Tennessee Titans (August 8, 7:30 PM ET, NBC10)
Week 2 - at Jacksonville Jaguars (August 15, 7:00 PM ET, NBC10)
Week 3 - vs. Baltimore Ravens (August 22, 7:30 PM ET, NBC10)
Week 4 - at New York Jets (August 29, 7:00 PM ET, NBC10)
It goes without saying that preseason football pales in comparison to regular season action but, hey, it easily beats the current NFL dead zone window.
And speaking of the regular season, the Eagles’ Week 1 matchup against Washington on Sunday, September 8 is exactly two months away. Just 62 days until we see the Eagles start their 2019 campaign with a win over an NFC East opponent.
But before the games begin, the Eagles must go through training camp. Players will report to the NovaCare Complex in South Philly on Wednesday, July 24 before participating in the first practice on Thursday, July 25. So, there are really only 17 days until practice notes return and Eagles news starts to pick up again.
Can’t wait!
