Eagles Question of the Day: What position should fill the final roster spot?

With a few late-offseason roster moves, the Eagles still have one spot left to fill ahead of training camp.

Tyreek Burwell (offensive tackle) retired and the team waived wide receiver Devin Ross before re-signing running back Darren Sproles to a one-year deal. That leaves one more spot to get to their 90-man roster heading into the preseason.

At this point, I think the offense is pretty well stacked. From having proven tight ends, to an absolutely dynamic wide receiver room, and a young but potential-laden group of rushers, the skill positions are pretty well filled out. I would consider adding some talent along the offensive line, but there are some young players that add depth behind (when healthy) some of the best lineman in the league in guys like Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson and Jason Peters.

On the defensive side, the secondary is another young, but potential-filled group, and there’s quite a few extras already on the roster given the injury situation at the DB/safety positions last season. The defensive line is also among the best in the NFL with guys like Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham.

If I had to pick one position to fill with the final roster spot among the 90 heading into training camp, it would either be a linebacker or EDGE defender.

What position should fill that final roster spot?
