Doug Pederson and Frank Reich made a wager

The two friends are putting their money where their mouth is in Tahoe.

It’s no secret that Eagles head coach Doug Pederson likes to spend his vacation ahead of training camp on the golf course. He’s made various bets over the years, and is doing the same this weekend with former offensive coordinator Frank Reich at the American Century Championship in Tahoe.

According to Tim McManus of ESPN, Pederson and Reich are putting their money where their mouth is:

“If Pederson wins, Reich will donate to the Eagles’ Austim Challenge. If Reich wins, Pederson will donate to Ascent 121, and Indiana-based charity that aids in the recovery of sex-trafficking victims”

Last year, Pederson made a similar wager with Sean Payton, resulting in the Saints’ head coach donating $5,000 to the Eagles’ charity.

Since Reich took the head coaching gig in Indianapolis, he gave the Eagles a bit of a run in September 2018, but ultimately Pederson and team pulled off the 20-16 win over his former coordinator. The two won’t face off on the football field during the 2019 regular season, so they’re probably excited for a chance to hang out before both of their schedules get a little more busy in late-July.
