A fun night in Philly for a good cause.

Carson Wentz’s second annual AO1 Foundation charity softball game took place on Friday night with around 15,000 fans in attendance at Citizens Bank Park. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback raised a total of $500,000. Good stuff.

Here’s a look at some noteworthy moments from the night out at the ballpark.

Video highlights

News to Doug Pederson’s ears

Wentz announced the AO1 Foundation is adding an ice cream truck in addition to their “Thy Kingdom Crumb” food truck.

OTA skippers show up

Malcolm Jenkins, Lane Johnson, and Alshon Jeffery haven’t been attending voluntary Eagles OTA practices but they were at CBP to support Wentz on Friday night. Nice to see.

Also nice to see an old friend.

Jason Kelce maintains legendary status

But wait, it gets better:

Dick Rod wins the Derby

Eagles third string tight end Richard Rodgers beat out kicker Jake Elliott in the home run derby. This marks the second year in a row where Elliott has been the runner up.

Rodgers was actually hitting balls into the stands and not just over the makeshift outfield fence. Maybe the Phillies should think about giving Rodgers a look as a pinch hitter?

Another warm welcome for DeSean Jackson

DeSean got a lot of love when he made his first public appearance back in Philly at a Sixers game back in March. Fans were similarly excited to see him on Friday night:

There’s nothing Jordan Mailata can’t do

The Australian has some cricket experience but he’s never played baseball in his life. That showed during warmups.

Despite this, he hit a homer on Friday night.

Rodgers comes up in the clutch

As if winning the HR derby wasn’t good enough, Rodgers also hit a walk-off homer to give the Eagles offense a 17-16 win over the defense.

Kind of funny that the Eagles’ third string tight end/emergency long snapper happens to be the team’s biggest softball star.
