While Doug Pederson hasn’t been willing to set any kind of concrete timetable for Brandon Brooks’ return, the Pro Bowler has been making huge strides as he recovers from Achilles surgery.
Back in March, he posted about returning to the gym and finally getting his boot off, and in April said he was able to go up stairs without pain and was utilizing the underwater treadmill during his 4-5 training sessions each week.
Now, with the team on vacation until training camp, Brooks posted some videos of him getting back to full speed, including doing some individual drills and running.

Brooks is one guy the Eagles definitely need back in the fold, and a Week 1 return doesn’t seem as far-fetched as it did back when he sustained the injury. Sure, the team and medical staff will want to ease him back into things to try and prevent any kind of re-injury, but he’s been making substantial progress all offseason.
