Down 3-2 with their backs against the wall in their NBA Eastern Conference Semifinal series against the Toronto Raptors, the Philadelphia 76ers made a good call to get their home crowd at the Well Fargo Center hyped up.
The Sixers had the Eagles’ very own Lane Johnson and Chris Long — dog masks included — to be the ceremonial bell ringers prior to Thursday night’s game.

Great choice. The Sixers’ crowd was absolutely electric heading into the first quarter.
The dog masks are very appropriate for a Sixers team that has the odds stacked against them as they try to win in Philadelphia tonight and then again in Toronto on Sunday evening.
It’s a little interesting to see Long make a public appearance in Philly like this since it’s unclear if he’ll be back with the Eagles in 2019. He’s currently under contract with the team but he’s still weighing retirement.
In any case, it’s great to see the Eagles showing some Brotherly Love. Now go beat the Raptors, Sixers.
