During the first week of Eagles’ OTAs, rookie running back Miles Sanders was noticeably not on the field for drills, and he missed this week’s Tuesday practice as well. But, it seems he won’t be out for long and could return as early as Wednesday, according to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, who is reporting that Sanders was sidelined with a strained hamstring.
Eagles’ rookie RB Miles Sanders has missed OTA time with a strained hamstring but the injury is not considered serious and he could return to action as early as today.

Sanders is someone that the coaching staff is excited to have on the roster, with Mike Groh saying on Tuesday that they’re excited about his versatility, his ability to make people miss, and even touting his pass-catching skills.
We still don’t know what Darren Sproles’ plans are for the 2019 season, so having all the running back talent on the field during OTAs is going to be important, and it’s good that Sanders’ injury doesn’t appear to be any more serious than just a strain.
More Eagles injury updates are available in yesterday’s OTA practice notes.
