Coaches always talk about the improvements players make between Year 1 and Year 2, but Eagles CB Rasul Douglas is looking to make the jump from Year 2 to Year 3 his most impressive yet. Some players tend to put more emphasis on offseason training than others, and this year Douglas is putting in work. Via his official Instagram story:

Not only does he now have washboard abs, but you can tell just how much diet changes have played a part in the transition as well by looking at his face. He looks like a totally different guy.
Douglas has always felt a need to prove himself after being drafted in the third round in 2017 and has gradually earned more playing in his two seasons in the league — granted some of that was due to the litany of injuries at the CB position. But still, he’s made the most of his opportunities.
Last season, he earned 7 starts and totaled 58 tackles (6 for loss), 4 passes defended and three interceptions.
If anything, he’s taking this offseason seriously in an effort to have a killer 2019 and become a more permanent feature in the Eagles defense.
