Eagles 2019 NFL Draft Prediction Game Results

Prior to the start of last week’s 2019 NFL Draft, I posted the annual Bleeding Green Nation draft prediction game contest entry thread. It was a competitive field as there were a total of 145 entries, which is up from last year. Before we get to the results, let’s recap the Eagles’ 2019 draft class.

1st - No. 22 - Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State

2nd - No. 53 - Miles Sanders, RB, Penn State

2nd - No. 57 - J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford

4th - No. 138 - Shareef Miller, DE, Penn State

5th - No. 167 - Clayton Thorson, QB, Northwestern

Now for your winner ... Outtenbucks! They were one of only three BGN members to get at least two draft picks correct and they won the tie-breaker since entry time counts. Outtenbucks was the third overall entry and they were the only community member to correctly predict the Eagles’ first two selections.

As a result, Outtenbucks will be receiving a highly coveted, currently-not-for-sale BGN t-shirt. Congrats!

Some more stats for you:

• 45 users got at least one pick right this year. That’s over 31% of the field, which is a big upgrade from last year’s 4.3% hit rate. Good job, BGN!
• Only three users got Andre Dillard but 37 users got credit for Miles Sanders. The Eagles tipped their hand with that one. Only one user got JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Shareef Miller’s name came up six times. No one guessed Clayton Thorson.
• Reported undrafted free agent signing T.J. Edwards was mentioned three times. Ryan Bates got one mention.
