The first round of the 2019 NFL Draft is over. Now the excitement shifts to Day 2, which features the second and third rounds.

The Philadelphia Eagles currently have four picks remaining in this year’s draft. Two of those are set to take place in the second round tonight: No. 53 and No. 57 overall.

The Eagles received the No. 53 overall pick from the Baltimore Ravens after trading out of No. 32 overall in the first round last year. The No. 57 pick is the Eagles’ own second-round selection. You can [CLICK HERE] to see some of the best players still available for Philly. Running back, wide receiver, safety, and defensive line are positions to watch.

Unfortunately, Philadelphia does not possess their third-round pick at No. 88 because they traded it away to the Detroit Lions in exchange for Golden Tate last season.

It’s also unfortunate that the Eagles only have two more selections beyond Day 2. Philly surrendered picks No. 25, No. 127, and No. 197 to move up to draft Andre Dillard on Thursday evening. That leaves the Eagles with just No. 138 and No. 163 on Day 3.

Of course, it’s entirely possible the Eagles could trade for more selection(s). Nelson Agholor and/or Halapoulivaati Vaitai are among players who could be dealt to acquire picks. The Eagles could also look to trade down at some point. Or they could dip into their 2020 draft assets (seven guaranteed picks plus at least two projected compensatory picks) in order to add another selection this year. The point here is that Howie Rosman does not lack options.

It’ll be interesting to see what Roseman has planned for the Eagles on Day 2.
