Eagles fans are everywhere. Literally. Even at places that seem completely and utterly unrelated to the city of Philadelphia or the football team.
Take, for example, an E-A-G-L-E-S chant that rang out (more than once) at the Kansas City Royals versus Tampa Bay Rays game in Florida on Tuesday evening.
Am I nuts or did I just hear a random @Eagles chant at the #Rays #Royals game?!?! Lol. #Birds pic.twitter.com/qH0FYXf52j

Turns out, @jwinheim isn’t nuts, and the chant did in fact take place. And apparently it happened multiple times:
I was at the game and they did the e-a-g-l-e-s chant a few times in multiple parts of the park it was great cuz I’m a birds fan and the rays won!!

Was there a specific reason for the chant? We may never know.
With the draft now just one day away, Eagles fans everywhere are getting itchy for a taste of football — and apparently, they’ll take it whether at a Philly event, or any other sporting event throughout the country.
It shouldn’t be surprising that Eagles fans support their team near or far, and are among some of the best travelers in the NFL. Now we know that extends beyond what we would have normally expected.
