The dilemma with the need of quarterbacks

As most of you are aware, the general agreement is that one Kyler Murray is going No. 1 overall. But that leaves the question of Josh Rosen. Is Rosen such a broken prospect that the Cardinals are ready to ship him out after not even a full season. If they are doing it for their head coach then history shows that rarely goes well. Rosen had a horrible rookie season, there is no denying that. Of the 41 QB who threw at least 100 passes in 2018, Rosen was 32nd in completion percentage, 29th in yards, 31st in TD and worst in TD% per attempt, 7th in INT and 29th INT% per attempt, with the worst ypa. You could chalk it up to him being the seventh most sacked QB in 2018 but that doesn't answer everything.

But he isnt the first QB that people were ready to hit eject on. Jared Goff was considered a bust after a season and some may say things a smaller sample size or he got better because of McVay and that might be the case, but with the insane amount of defensive prospects coming and lack of depth at said QB position, the worst the Cardinals could do is wait another year and pick a prospect from the 2020 draft that has a stronger class. But people will always reach for QB because of the perceived need of a great QB to win the SB. Though no one will argue that Nick Foles is a franchise QB, he has been inconsistent most of his career, but he beat Tom Brady for SB LII. Joe Flacco won one, declining Peyton won one. Nick Foles played above his head, so did Flacco and Peyton was carried by a elite defense. So the need for a elite QB is not a need.
