Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills was arrested very early on Saturday morning following an altercation outside of a Washington D.C. night club, according to multiple reports.
The 6-0 Mills was reportedly involved in a tussle with 6-8 Washington Wizards foward Devin Robinson. Les Bowen offers more insight on the motivation behind the fight:
Source with knowledge of situation says altercation between Eagles’ Jalen Mills and Wizards’ Devin Robinson arose over Robinson feeling that Mills shouldn’t be in DC, since he doesn’t play for a Washington team.

Reckon that that thar town ain’t big enough fer the both of them ...
Pretty silly, if you ask me.
Mills was reportedly arrested and he paid a $35 fine. There is no court date set, per Jeff McLane.
The Eagles released the following official statement:
“The Philadelphia Eagles are aware of the situation involving defensive back Jalen Mills and are continuing to gather information. No further comment will be provided at this time.”
Robinson was also arrested and had to be hospitalized. The Wizards released the following statement:
“We are aware of the incident this morning involving Devin and are disappointed in his actions. We will not extend a qualifying offer to him for the 2019-20 season.”
It remains to be seen what further comes of this incident, if anything at all.
