On Sunday, the much-anticipated final season of “Game of Thrones” (April 14 at 9 p.m. EDT on HBO) will premiere, and fans far and wide are preparing themselves for the main event. Among those, include Eagles defensive end Chris Long, who will be writing episode recaps for Sports Illustrated every Monday through the series finale in May.

Long isn’t the only NFL player to get involved with the insanely popular franchise, Chargers’ pass rusher Joey Bosa snagged a cameo on the series, and attended the premiere party last week.
While Long has yet to decide whether he will return to Philadelphia for the 2019 season, or opt to retire altogether, he’s at least spreading his wings a bit and venturing into other career options.
He’s always been a real treat on Twitter and in interviews, so there’s no doubt his “Game of Thrones” recaps will be just as epic.
