Not even the head coach was spared from a 2018 Philadelphia Eagles season filled with injuries. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports Doug Pederson recently underwent foot surgery:
As we head to Arizona for the NFL Annual Meetings, one note: #Eagles coach Doug Pederson underwent foot surgery on a nagging ailment & will be hobbled this week, source said. No timetable, but he should be ready for the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Tahoe ️ ⛳️

More context from Mike Garafolo:
Source confirms. The source is Pederson. He’s wheeling through the Biltmore on one of those one-legged medical scooters. https://t.co/H88EmcIL4q

I’m sure Pederson will jokingly refer to this as a “lower body injury” when he meets with reporters at the NFL Coaches Breakfast on Tuesday morning.
Based on Rapoport’s tweet, Pederson should be recovered by the time the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship begins in mid-July. Then again, maybe there’s reason to worry if that’ll truly be the case!
Hope he's not using the Eagles' medical staff

Pederson still has about two months before the Eagles begin their OTA practices in late May. We’ll see if he’s still limited in any capacity at that time but it sounds like he should be full go by the time training camp begins in late July.
In addition to Pederson addressing reporters at the NFL owners meetings this week, it’s also expected we’ll hear from Eagles CEO and Chairman Jeffrey Lurie along with executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman. Stay tuned to Bleeding Green Nation for complete coverage.
