The NFL’s legal tampering window has been very active but now it’s time for the real show to start. The new league year OFFICIALLY begins today, Wednesday, March 13 at 4:00 PM Eastern.
This means that the Philadelphia Eagles can finally confirm the moves they’ve reportedly made so far, such as the DeSean Jackson trade. It’s also very possible we’ll see even more trades, signings, and cuts today.
Another reason why today is significant is because it’s when Nelson Agholor’s fifth-year option, which is valued at $9.4 million, becomes guaranteed. The latest report indicates Agholor is “likely to remain with the Eagles” in 2019.
Here’s everything you need to know for the official beginning of 2018 NFL free agency.
