Sadly, mere hours remain until the Philadelphia Eagles will no longer be “the reigning Super Bowl champions.”
But the Eagles will ALWAYS be Super Bowl LII champions. And Sunday, February 4, 2018 will always be the best day of our lives.
I’ve recently been looking back through the BGN archives in order to think back to last year’s good times. I thought I’d put together a guide that helps you relive the Eagles’ Super Bowl win.
“THIS TEAM JUST FEELS DIFFERENT”
I wrote this on January 29, 2018:
I’ll have my “official” Super Bowl score prediction posted on Bleeding Green Nation later this week, but I wanted to get something off my chest as I type this on a flight out to Minneapolis.
The Eagles are going to win the Super Bowl.
You might not want to see that because you feel like I’m jinxing it. If that’s the case, well, I am *NOT* sorry.
Just like the title says, this year feels DIFFERENT.
This is not your typical Philadelphia sports team where you expect inevitable disappointment.
This is a team worth believing in.
Deep down, we all knew.
