NFL Draft season means oddball takes, smoke screens, and anonymous scouts giving the goods. What can you trust? In the case of Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, it’s hard to say.
The QB Scho Show #13 with Mark Schofield attempts to wade through the nonsense and get to the bottom of it all. Namely regarding the rumor about Murray that likely won’t go away. New Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has stated that second year quarterback Josh Rosen is their guy, but is that enough to quiet the rampant speculation? Would Kingsbury really draft Murray with the first overall pick and trade Rosen?
Finally decided to do a Mock today based on what I’ve heard/know:

1. #Cardinals - QB Kyler Murray
etc.
That question could impact the Philadelphia Eagles. A team that may be in the quarterback market is the Washington Redskins. There’s talk that the Redskins know Alex Smith won’t play in 2019, which would give them a dire need at the position. But is there any merit to the rumor? Or are folks in the media being yanked around by a disinformation campaign? Or are they just doing it for the sweet, sweet clicks?
Spoiler: we think it’s just noise. We detail why and also analyze Murray’s game and what an offense built around him would look like. Plus we have our normal history references, like how this all equates to the Battle of Marathon. Listen in to The QB Scho Show on the media player below or click here if the player doesn’t load.
