The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 14 Monday Night Football game against the New York Giants.

Three players DID NOT PARTICIPATE in practice: Nelson Agholor, Derek Barnett, and Kamu Grugier-Hill. All three players were able to finish Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins so one would think the Eagles are being cautious with them. Especially since the Birds held a padded practice on Thursday. Grugier-Hill’s injury could be the most significant since he’s in the league’s concussion protocol and will need to be cleared before being allowed to return.

One player was a LIMITED PARTICIPANT in practice: Jordan Howard. Howard still hasn’t been cleared for contact, according to Doug Pederson. It seems like the Eagles’ leading rusher is on track to miss his fourth straight game since suffering a shoulder injury back in Week 9. If that’s the case, it’ll be another week where Miles Sanders is the primary running back with Jay Ajayi having a small role.

Alshon Jeffery is notably off the injury report after being limited in practice last week. That’s a positive. Same goes for Zach Ertz, who has been dealing with a hamstring issue.

We’ll learn more abut the team’s injury situation when they put out their second injury report on Friday afternoon.
