UPDATE #3: Miles Sanders suffered a “painful sprained ankle” and is set to undergo more testing.
#Eagles RB Miles Sanders will have an MRI today on his sprained ankle, source said. Status TBD for Sunday’s playoff vs. #Seahawks, but the stud rookie has toughed it out before.

UPDATE: It doesn’t look like the rookie running back will return against the Giants.
Doug Pederson told FOX that Miles Sanders and Brandon Brooks are unlikely to return in Eagles vs. Giants.

Running back Miles Sanders has been one of the few bright spots for the Eagles’ offense this season, but early in the second quarter on Sunday against the Giants, the rookie went into the medical tent before heading to the locker room. He was then ruled questionable to return with an ankle injury.
Injury Update: RB Miles Sanders (ankle) is questionable to return.

There wasn’t any kind of identifiable injury prior to Sanders being evaluated, and after he left the medical tent was seen jogging on the sideline. Despite grabbing his helmet, however, the rusher went to the locker room rather than back into the game.
With Sanders sidelined, Boston Scott is the go-to guy, and the team (thankfully) has Jordan Howard available, but likely as a worst-case option.
